Fixed and adjustable high-power ripple and wire-wound resistance
Wire-wound resistors are made of nickel-chromium wire, manganese-copper wire, and constantan wire wound on a porcelain tube. There are two types: fixed and adjustable. Wire-wound resistors are characterized by extremely high resistance accuracy, low noise during operation, stability and reliability, and can withstand high temperatures.
It can still work normally at an ambient temperature of 170°C. But it is large in size and low in resistance, mostly below 100KΩ. In addition, due to structural reasons, its distributed capacitance and inductance are relatively large and cannot be used in high-frequency circuits.
This type of resistor is usually used for step-down or load in high-power circuits.

The resistance wire is generally made of nickel-chromium, manganese-copper alloys with a certain resistivity. The insulating frame is made of materials such as ceramics and metal coated with an insulating layer into various shapes such as tube and flat shapes.
The resistance wire can be wound on the skeleton in one layer, or in multiple layers, or non-inductive winding method.
